Technical audiology
DELTA, Technical- Audiological Laboratory (TAL) offers technical counseling for professionals who work with hearing impaired persons
TAL is mainly occupied within the following areas:
- Consultancy work for the Danish Hearing Health Care Service.
- Impartial and professional counseling concerning approval and development of new products.
- Accredited acoustical, electroacoustical and EMC type approval testing of hearing aids in preparation for e.g. homologation and CE-approval.
- Participation in the technical development of methods and procedures for audiological examinations and measurements.
- Communication of knowlegde within technical audiology in terms of lectures, training courses, manuals and demo-materials used to illustrate various aspects of the problems related to a hearing impairment.
