The DELTA metrology group offers pattern approval testing and other services for water meters and their subassemblies. As a part of the independent technological research centre DELTA Danish Electronics, Light & Acoustics, we can offer specific services designed for your needs whether you want our services as a basis for Danish type approval and/or type approvals in other European countries.

DELTA's metrology group is internationally recognised by customers and authorities and has for more than 10 years helped customers mainly in the field of electronic flow meters to reduce their "time to market" by offering test programmes accepted by national authorities in several countries. We offer our customers "one stop shopping" and if the product runs into problems during the test programme we offer assistance from DELTA's many experts in electronics, environmental and EMC testing as well as component and circuit technologies. Our goal is always to fulfil our customers' needs as easy and fast as possible.

All testing and measurements in connection with pattern approval testing are accredited by DANAK, Danish Accreditation, and are thereby covered by the EA multilateral agreement for test laboratories which has been made by the accreditation bodies.

We perform testing and measurements according to national and international standards. No common standard is accessible for electronic flow sensors for which reason the measurements and test programmes are agreed between the authorities and the laboratory.

We have an excellent collaboration with the Danish authority, EFS (the Danish Agency for Trade and Industry), and we are advisers to EFS in all fields of type approval and verification of water meters in Denmark.

Our staff is highly qualified engineers and technicians with many years of experience. We participate in European and international standardisation work to ensure that our knowledge is in front and to utilise DELTA's more than 25 years of experience in the area of testing and evaluation of electronic and electromechanical equipment. We participate in the following standardisation groups for heat and water meters:
