DELTA SenseLab provides Sensory Evaluation services to technological companies for whom the end-user perception of the product and its quality is important. SenseLab focuses on the perception associated with a product's sound, visual and haptic characteristics.

The types of solutions that can be provided using Sensory Evaluation techniques include:
  • What are the key perceptual characteristics of your product, both positive and negative?
  • How are these influenced by the usage situation?
  • What is the impact of the environmental conditions (backgroundnoise, lighting, etc.)?
  • How can these characteristics be quantified and how can they be communicated (to engineering, management, etc.)?
  • How do these characteristics relate to consumer needs and preference?
  • Is there more than one type of user groups and what are their perceptual needs?
  • Estimation of the target performance characteristics for a given user group/product type.
We can also provide you with standardised testing for your speech or audio codecs, for example using standard methods such as ITU-T BS.1116-1 or ITU-R BS.1534 or many others.

DELTA provides Sensory Evaluation services to take companies to a new level of understanding in terms of end-user perception.
